Responsibilities of Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for determining the purpose and scope of the journal, ethical policies, referee evaluation rules, and editorial rules.

The Editor-in-Chief has the authority to assign and dismiss the Editorial Board.

Responsible for ensuring that the content to be published in the journal consists of articles that will make a high contribution to the scientific literature and comply with the ethical principles followed by the journal.

The chief editor is responsible for working with the editors to increase the journal's visibility and number of citations.

Editor-in-Chief is also the final authority in managing any disputes that may arise regarding articles.

 

Responsibilities of Editor

The editor works with the editor-in-chief to determine topic areas and encourages submission of high-quality scientific articles.   

 The Editor is responsible for ensuring international author and academic diversity, taking into account the journal's topics and readership. The Editor provides suggestions and advice to the Editor-in-Chief regarding the selection of Editorial Board members.

The Editor is responsible for managing the peer review process for articles to be published in the journal, in collaboration with the Associate Editors.

The Editor cannot referee/decide on his/her own, but he/she can convey his/her constructive/critical comments to the author during the double-blind peer review process and/or after the process is completed, and request corrections.

Prior to submission of manuscripts for peer review, the reviewer has the authority to evaluate manuscripts for subject matter, content, structure, adherence to ethical guidelines, and compliance with the journal's writing standards, and may reject, correct, or request revisions as appropriate.

 

Responsibilities of Associate Editor(s)

Once submitted to the journal, manuscripts are pre-reviewed by the Editor before being forwarded to the Associate Editors for double-blind peer review.

The Associate Editor(s) are responsible for assigning reviewers and reviewing corrections requested by authors.

The Associate Editor(s) have the authority to evaluate manuscripts (in terms of subject, content, structuring, compliance with ethical rules and writing rules of the journal, etc.) and request corrections and/or rewrites before sending them out for peer review.

The Assistant Editor(s) shall make suggestions/advice to the Chief Editor in the selection of the members of the Board of Editors.

 

Responsibilities of Language Editor(s)

The language editor is responsible for supervising the language structuring of the article within the framework of academic article writing rules.

If there is a need for clarification on the part of the author, the language editor will provide feedback to the associate editor, who will then provide feedback to the author.

 

Responsibilities of Biostatistical Editor

The Statistics Editor is responsible for checking the statistical data in the article. They will provide their assessment and suggestions to the Associate Editor, who will communicate them to the author, if there are any errors or inaccuracies in the data.

 

Responsibilities of Copy Editor

The copy editor is responsible for checking the article for spelling and typographical errors. If errors are found, they provide feedback and suggestions to the Associate Editor, who forwards them to the author.

 

Responsibilities of Editorial Board

The Editorial Board is responsible for providing constructive criticism/suggestions regarding the journal's content, policies, and article quality standards and is consisting of scholars who are experts in their fields.

Board members advise the editors in determining journal topics and suggest external reviewers to ensure international diversity in the double-blind manuscript review process.

Manuscripts may be evaluated by the editorial board or external reviewers.

The external reviewers will be selected independent, knowledgeable and experienced scholars who will be responsible for the quality, consistency, and adherence to ethical principles in the evaluation of the journal's content.
