Surgical Education and Technology Association is the grant holder of the journal Surgical Revolutions and Artificial Intelligence. All expenses are covered by the Surgical Education and Technology Association. The editorial board has the authority in the publication and evaluation processes of the journal, and the final decision belongs to the Editor-in-chief. Editor-in-chief have full authority over the editorial content of the journal.

Editorial appointments and dismissals fall under the authority of the journal's concessionaire. Dismissals may be made after review by an independent board for important reasons such as scientific misconduct, inappropriate behavior incompatible with the position of trust of the editor.

Publishing services are provided by an independent private publishing company. The decision on the selection of the company providing independent private publishing services belongs to the Editor-in-chief. The publishing services scope includes managing the editorial secretariat for submitted journal articles, preparing evaluation reports, formatting articles/issues for publication, assigning DOIs, maintaining and backing up the article evaluation system and journal's website.
