Instruction for Authors

Surgical Revolutions and Artificial Intelligence is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that covers the studies on surgical medicine practices, including AI-assisted diagnosis and diagnostic applications, treatment planning, robotic surgery for physicians and researchers working in the fields of medicine. The journal publishes three issues a year in April, August, and December.

Research submitted to the journal should be original, scientifically sound, and theoretically well-structured.

Research should adhere to the ethical standards outlined in the WMA Declaration of Helsinki if human subjects are involved (https://www.wma.net/policies-post/wma-declaration-of-helsinki-ethical-principles-for-medical-research-involving-human-subjects/ ).

If the content of the original research article needs to be approved by a local Ethics Committee, the authors may be asked to provide a copy. Information on ethics committee approval, including the approving institution, approval date, and approval number, should be included in the Methods section.

The authors conducting the study are responsible for protecting patient confidentiality. Patient informed consent forms should be available upon request and kept in the author's archive.

Authors should indicate whether they follow institutional and national standards for the care and use of laboratory animals in studies involving animal subjects.

Manuscripts should not have been published or under review in any other journal before being submitted to the journal. If the article has been presented as an abstract or full text at a congress, it can be accepted for evaluation by indicating in the relevant field during submission.

Manuscripts submitted to Surgical Revolutions and Artificial Intelligence will undergo a technical review before being peer-reviewed and, if necessary, the corresponding author will be asked to correct or complete any deficiencies.
